Frequently Asked Questions

What does the term Organic stand for?
Organic refers to the way produce is grown, meaning without the use of herbicides or pesticides. Because they’re free from these man-made chemicals, organic produce is far better for you – and for the planet. That’s why we at Phoenix Organics choose to use organic ingredients.
Organic is the way of the future. Just look to the UK and the trend is clear, though we saw it years ago and think of ourselves as a bit of a pioneer, having used organic ingredients since Phoenix was borne back in 1986.
So enjoy a Phoenix Organic drink, knowing it’s good for you, and good for your world.
Where do you make Phoenix drinks?
All Phoenix Organic drinks have always been produced here at our Henderson plant in Auckland.
Where do you source your ingredients?
At Phoenix we source only the highest quality ingredients. These come from NZ and around the world – wherever is producing the best of what we need, to make the best drinks for your drinking pleasure.

At the end of the day, what’s important is that you’re drinking the best drink available. And we think, with a Phoenix Organic you are.
Can I recycle my Phoenix glass bottle?
We are definitely committed to sustainability and the environment and our glass packaging can be recycled in New Zealand.

Glass can be recycled everywhere in NZ, although some places have a backlog because there is no glass processing plants - such as the South Island. Although recently they have begun to use a mobile glass crushing plant there. They then send the crushed glass up to Auckland for use at the glass blowing plant.

Glass is easier and better for the planet to recycle then plastic, so what do you suggest we use instead of glass?
Is there any caffeine in your Phoenix Chai Hot Beverage?
For every 30ml shot there is 12.5mg of caffeine.
